Junior QC Manual Engineer – Manual Testing & API Validation

About the role

Svitla Systems Inc. is seeking a Junior QC Manual Engineer to join a fast‑growing team supporting a high‑traffic live production platform. You will work on diagnosing, triaging, and resolving client‑facing issues, especially those affecting hiring events, while ensuring a high level of client satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze and troubleshoot production issues impacting live hiring events.
• Validate APIs and integrations using Postman.
• Reproduce, document, and track defects in Jira.
• Perform functional, regression, and end‑to‑end testing of hiring‑event workflows.
• Collaborate with Client Support, GTM, and engineering teams to resolve issues.
• Monitor production systems, assist with incident triage, and validate resolutions.
• Validate backend data with SQL and investigate data inconsistencies.
• Support testing of architecture changes, new integrations, and platform releases.
• Investigate frontend and network problems using browser developer tools.

Required profile

• At least 2 years of hands‑on manual testing experience.
• Strong understanding of regression testing and end‑to‑end workflow validation.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Ability to collaborate with cross‑functional teams and communicate defects clearly.
• Familiarity with WCAG accessibility standards.
