Junior External Auditor – US Clients

About the role

Join PwC’s audit and assurance team as a Junior External Auditor focused on US clients. You will support the delivery of high‑quality financial statement audits, ensuring compliance with US GAAP, IFRS and PCAOB standards while gaining exposure to a variety of industries.

Key responsibilities

• Perform standard financial‑statement tasks, including full balance‑sheet work.
• Participate in all phases of financial‑statement audits and internal‑control audits.
• Identify client needs, prioritize tasks, and apply professional skepticism.
• Execute audit procedures using PwC’s Aura platform.
• Apply and interpret PCAOB, US GAAP and IFRS standards.
• Proactively raise questions, document findings, and communicate results in fluent English.
• Collaborate with audit teams on diverse projects, contributing creative solutions.

Required profile

• Graduated or pursuing a public‑accountant degree with at least 70% of coursework completed.
• Strong learning mindset and ownership of personal development.
• Ability to appreciate diverse perspectives and give/receive feedback.
• Commercial awareness and commitment to professional ethics and independence.
• Excellent oral and written English proficiency.

Required skills

• Knowledge of US GAAP.
• Knowledge of IFRS.
• Familiarity with PCAOB audit standards.
• Experience with Aura audit software (or willingness to learn).
• Financial‑statement audit and internal‑control audit techniques.
