IT Operations Analyst

About the role

UpGuard is looking for an IT Operations Analyst to build, operate and continuously improve the technology platform that enables every employee to work securely and efficiently. This engineering-focused role owns the end‑to‑end lifecycle of corporate technology, automating repetitive tasks and embedding security into system design.

Key responsibilities

• Manage Google Workspace, Okta (or equivalent IdP), and MDM solutions (Kandji, Jamf) across a macOS and ChromeOS fleet, handling SaaS administration, asset management, endpoint standards, compliance, and joiner‑mover‑leaver processes.
• Operate and enhance Cloudflare Zero Trust environment, including ZTNA, Secure Web Gateway, DNS filtering, tunnels, and identity‑aware access policies.
• Automate workflows using REST APIs, Python, Apps Script, Terraform, n8n and AI‑assisted tools to replace manual tasks with code.
• Lead incident, problem and change management, develop service catalogues, knowledge bases, metrics, capacity planning and operational readiness.
• Ensure zero‑touch provisioning, endpoint compliance, fleet health monitoring, reporting, SaaS governance and self‑service capabilities.
• Deploy and maintain security controls, harden endpoints, support security incidents and keep baselines up‑to‑date.

Required profile

• Experience administering enterprise SaaS and identity platforms such as Google Workspace or Microsoft 365, an IdP (Okta, Entra) and MDM at scale.
• Hands‑on familiarity with Zero Trust concepts and platforms (Cloudflare Zero Trust or similar).
• Strong automation mindset with proven Python or Apps Script code and REST API integrations.
• Background in managing macOS fleets, zero‑touch provisioning and endpoint compliance.
• Experience running incident and change management processes and creating useful documentation.
