IT External Audit Manager

About the role

PwC's Acceleration Center Buenos Aires is hiring an IT External Audit Manager within its Assurance practice. The role delivers independent assessments of financial statements, internal controls and other key information, with a focus on clients' digital environments: processes and controls, cybersecurity measures, data and AI systems and their governance. As a manager, you lead teams, manage client accounts and mentor junior staff, while ensuring project success and professional standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead teams in evaluating regulatory compliance and assessing governance and risk management processes
• Manage client service accounts and drive engagement workstreams by supervising teams and solving complex problems independently
• Analyze linkages between system components to strengthen digital assurance services
• Develop and execute strategic plans for auditing methodologies and IT governance frameworks
• Use cloud engineering and AI platforms to improve data quality and validation processes
• Coach team members, manage performance and handle stakeholder conflicts appropriately
• Uphold professional and technical standards, including compliance auditing and cybersecurity governance
• Encourage innovation and use technology to improve service delivery
• Review work to deepen team members' skills and knowledge

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Management Information Systems, Computer Science or a related field
• At least 4 years of experience
• Oral and written English proficiency
