IoT C++ Engineer

About the role

We are seeking an experienced C++ Engineer to join our growing engineering team focused on IoT and distributed systems. The role will involve developing, maintaining, and integrating large‑scale software solutions as part of a major technology modernization programme.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain high‑performance C++ applications for IoT devices and edge platforms.
• Integrate multiple platforms and APIs following a large‑scale business transformation.
• Contribute to the modernization of technology stacks and micro‑services architectures.
• Ensure scalability, reliability and security of distributed systems.
• Debug and optimise software in Linux environments using appropriate tools.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of professional C++ software development experience.
• Strong knowledge of modern C++ standards (C++11/14/17 or later).
• Hands‑on experience with IoT devices, embedded systems or edge computing.
• Understanding of distributed systems, network protocols and micro‑services.
• Proficiency with Linux environments and debugging tools.
