Integration Specialist – API & Azure Development

About the role

Chevron Global Business Services is looking for an Integration Specialist to join its IT team in Buenos Aires. You will design, develop, test, and maintain API and integration solutions using Microsoft Azure services, contributing to the full software development lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver complex software features and components with high quality and minimal supervision.
• Allocate effort across development, bug fixing, refactoring, and technical improvements.
• Own technical tasks from design through implementation and support.
• Balance feature delivery with technical debt reduction and code‑quality improvements.
• Participate in sprint planning, estimation, and commitment.
• Prioritize work to meet sprint goals, release timelines, and production stability.
• Support production issues and conduct root‑cause analysis when required.
• Leverage AI tools such as GitHub Copilot within the Scrum team to accelerate delivery.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of professional experience with C#.
• At least 3 years of JavaScript development.
• Experience with relational databases (SQL, DML, DDL, data modeling) for at least 2 years.
• 2+ years working with Azure cloud platform and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong background in building and consuming REST APIs (3+ years).
• Solid understanding of software design principles, clean code, refactoring, and debugging (3+ years).
