Instructional Designer

About the role

bylittle is seeking an Instructional Designer to create engaging, learner‑centered training solutions for clients across various industries. The role is hands‑on and focuses on translating complex information into effective learning experiences that align with business goals.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze learning needs, performance gaps and business objectives to define instructional strategies.
• Design and develop storyboards, learning blueprints, scripts and course outlines.
• Collaborate with subject‑matter experts, clients and internal teams to gather and validate content.
• Apply adult‑learning principles, accessibility standards and best practices throughout the design process.
• Partner with eLearning developers, designers and team leads during project delivery.
• Review and quality‑assure learning materials to ensure instructional effectiveness.
• Communicate progress, risks and design decisions clearly to stakeholders.

Required profile

• Proven experience designing learning experiences, training programs or eLearning solutions.
• Strong understanding of instructional design principles and adult learning theory.
• Ability to organize complex information into clear, engaging learning experiences.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Comfort working with ambiguity and evolving project requirements.
• Self‑management, prioritisation and problem‑solving skills.
• Fluent written and verbal communication in English.
