Infrastructure Automation & Orchestration Architect

About the role

We are looking for an Infrastructure Automation & Orchestration Architect to design and deliver secure, scalable hybrid environments across Windows, Citrix, and cloud platforms. The role focuses on automation‑first architecture, Infrastructure as Code, and smooth operational handoffs.

Key responsibilities

• Design hybrid infrastructure architectures that prioritize automation, zero‑configuration, and zero‑trust principles.
• Build and implement scalable, secure Windows, Citrix, and cloud environments using engineering best practices.
• Engineer and administer large‑scale hybrid infrastructure services, including identity and access management.
• Develop automation and orchestration using PowerShell and IaC patterns.
• Integrate security and privacy requirements into testable engineering controls.
• Coordinate with cybersecurity partners for threat management and data loss prevention.
• Implement monitoring, alerting, and reporting for uptime, performance, capacity, and utilization.
• Drive IaC adoption through examples, standards, and mentorship.
• Collaborate with business users, external parties, and cross‑functional technology groups to deliver solutions.
• Prepare operational handoff documentation and transition activities to infrastructure operations teams.

Required profile

• 7+ years of infrastructure engineering experience in Windows‑based enterprise environments.
• 7+ years of cloud engineering experience with AWS or Microsoft Azure in hybrid settings.
• Hands‑on IAM experience with AWS IAM and enterprise identity platforms.
• Proven leadership and mentoring skills, advocating IaC adoption.
• Strong project delivery skills coordinating with security, network, application development, and service desk teams.
• Advanced PowerShell scripting abilities.
• Solid Citrix Cloud expertise supporting virtual app/desktop workloads.
• Deep knowledge of Active Directory Domain Services, including access, policy, and integration.
• Practical security and compliance knowledge for implementable engineering controls.
• Clear communication skills and English proficiency at B2 level.
