Information Security Analyst

About the role

The Information Security Analyst will serve as a key resource for security and compliance tasks, developing and executing processes that enforce Assurant's security policies, regulatory requirements, and contractual obligations.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to security incidents and participate in related investigations.
• Support and take part in security and compliance audits.
• Enforce privacy and confidentiality of sensitive information in line with company policies.
• Maintain awareness of evolving threats, defensive technologies, and current security laws and standards.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in an information technology role.
• 1+ year of experience specifically in IT security.
• Bachelor’s degree.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, able to explain technical topics to non‑technical audiences.

Required skills

• Working knowledge of EDR, web and email gateways, access control, cryptography, vulnerability management, SIEM/log management, ID/IPS, zero‑trust networks, and DLP.
• Familiarity with network protocols, DNS, and networking devices such as servers, routers, VPNs, proxies, and firewalls.
