Information Security Analyst

About the role

The Information Security Analyst will act as a key resource for security and compliance initiatives within Assurant. You will develop, support, and execute processes that enforce security policies, regulatory requirements, and contractual obligations.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to security incidents and coordinate remediation efforts.
• Participate in security and compliance audits.
• Enforce privacy and confidentiality of sensitive information in line with company policies.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of evolving threats, defensive technologies, and relevant security laws and standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support the overall security posture.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in an information technology role.
• 1+ year of experience specifically with IT security.
• Bachelor’s degree.
• 2+ years in a technical information security role.
• 4+ years in an overall IT role.

Required skills

• Working knowledge of EDR solutions.
• Experience with web and email gateways, access control, and cryptography.
• Familiarity with vulnerability management, SIEM/log management, ID/IPS, zero‑trust networks, and DLP.
• Understanding of network protocols, DNS, and networking devices such as servers, routers, VPNs, proxies, and firewalls.
