Indirect Procurement & Purchasing Specialist

About the role

Join Siemens Global Business Services in Argentina as an Indirect Procurement & Purchasing Specialist. You will support the end‑to‑end purchasing process, work closely with suppliers and internal stakeholders, and help ensure efficient procurement operations.

Key responsibilities

• Support the full purchasing cycle from requirement gathering and sourcing to PO follow‑up.
• Obtain and evaluate supplier quotations, assist in negotiations and supplier selection.
• Create and manage shopping carts and purchase orders while ensuring compliance with purchasing procedures.
• Monitor orders and deliveries, proactively expediting when needed.
• Support supplier setup, master data updates, and manage invoice discrepancies, GR/IR and payment issues.
• Maintain reports and provide visibility on purchasing activities.

Required profile

• Experience in procurement, purchasing, supply chain or order management.
• Hands‑on experience with SAP or another ERP system.
• Experience with sourcing, supplier quotations, purchase orders and order follow‑up.
• Intermediate Excel skills, including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Organized, proactive mindset and ability to handle multiple priorities.
