Human Resources Manager (Remote, US Eastern Hours)

About the role

Residence Supply is looking for a Human Resources Manager to own the full talent lifecycle—from sourcing and hiring to onboarding, performance management, and off‑boarding. This fully remote, full‑time position works on U.S. Eastern hours and will initially operate as a solo function before building a small people team as the company scales.

Key responsibilities

• Write and post job descriptions, source candidates, and shortlist resumes and portfolios.
• Assess creative and operational potential beyond the résumé to ensure strong hires.
• Manage offers, contractor agreements, and worker classification across multiple countries.
• Develop and maintain onboarding decks, run day‑one onboarding, and handle clean off‑boarding.
• Partner with the Director of Operations and department heads to track KPIs, run weekly performance reviews, and hold teams accountable.
• Monitor Hubstaff and Upwork logs to verify accurate time tracking and maintain data confidentiality.
• Identify cost‑saving opportunities, analyze payroll and workload distribution, and recommend headcount adjustments.
• Track people metrics such as time‑to‑hire, retention, and onboarding completion.

Required profile

• Proven experience in full‑cycle recruitment and talent acquisition.
• Strong understanding of compliance, contractor agreements, and international worker classification.
• Ability to interpret performance data and drive accountability across departments.
• High integrity, confidentiality, and trustworthiness when handling sensitive employee data.
