HR Specialist – Fintech & Crypto

About the role

Veta Virtual is seeking an HR Specialist to support a high‑growth fintech and cryptocurrency client. The role focuses on the full employee lifecycle, ensuring HR systems run smoothly, employees receive timely support, and data remains accurate in a fast‑paced global environment.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary HR point of contact for employee questions on policies, procedures, and general employment matters.
• Coordinate onboarding and offboarding workflows, including paperwork, system setup, orientation, exit interviews, and final documentation.
• Administer the Paylocity HRIS – configure records, permissions, workflows, and resolve system issues for employees and managers.
• Create HR reports, dashboards, and executive‑ready PowerPoint presentations analyzing headcount, turnover, and workforce metrics.
• Maintain personnel files and support compliance activities such as EEO‑1 reporting, labor surveys, audits, and adherence to U.S. employment law.
• Assist managers with documentation, coaching conversations, and policy interpretation to foster an inclusive culture.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or equivalent.
• 2–5 years of progressive HR experience.
• Experience with HRIS administration, preferably Paylocity.
• Working knowledge of U.S. employment laws and HR compliance.
• Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and able to handle sensitive information discreetly.
