About the role

St. Philip the Apostle College is looking for a passionate History Teacher to deliver IGCSE History to students in Years 1‑5. The successful candidate will join a bilingual secondary school environment and contribute to a culture of academic excellence.

Key responsibilities

Plan, deliver and assess IGCSE History lessons for Years 1‑5.
Maintain a 22‑hour weekly teaching schedule, including Tuesday morning, Thursday (8:00 am‑4:20 pm) and Friday (8:00 am‑3:00 pm).
Develop engaging learning materials and employ innovative teaching practices.
Collaborate with colleagues to support interdisciplinary projects and school initiatives.
Provide timely feedback and support to students to foster their academic growth.

Required profile

Degree in History or a related discipline.
Proven experience teaching History at secondary level; IGCSE experience preferred.
Excellent command of English, both written and spoken.
Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
