Group Director, Data Analytics

About the role

The Group Director, Data Analytics will lead DEPT®'s Analytics practice in Argentina, building a high‑performing LATAM team and partnering closely with the U.S. organization to deliver world‑class analytical solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as senior leader for the LATAM Analytics practice, overseeing performance, quality and culture.
• Hire, onboard and develop the Buenos Aires analytics team from the ground up.
• Define and execute an analytics strategy aligned with global objectives, driving measurable client value.
• Oversee data collection, analysis and insight generation to improve marketing effectiveness and business performance.
• Apply predictive analytics, machine learning and attribution modeling to enhance personalization and ROI.
• Establish KPIs, dashboards and reporting structures for clear actionable insights.
• Collaborate with U.S. Analytics leadership and cross‑functional teams to integrate data into strategic decisions.
• Drive R&D into AI‑driven analytics and champion best‑in‑class tools and methodologies.
• Ensure compliance with data governance, security and privacy regulations.

Required profile

• 12+ years in analytics, data science or business intelligence, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
• Proven experience building or scaling an analytics practice within an agency or global consultancy.
• Strong track record applying analytics to marketing, digital experiences and customer lifecycle management.
• Fluent in English and Spanish, with ability to influence senior stakeholders across time zones.
