Golang Developer – Cloud‑Native Media Services

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Golang Developer to design, build, and maintain cloud‑native services that power live event management, media processing, and hybrid edge‑caching solutions. You will work on Go microservices, distributed systems, and Google Cloud platforms to solve complex streaming challenges at scale.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Go microservices using gRPC, Protocol Buffers, and grpc‑gateway.
• Contribute to backend services for live‑event lifecycle management and media workflow operations.
• Support hybrid media‑cache services that bridge on‑prem file systems with Google Cloud Storage.
• Implement features from API design and protobuf schemas to deployment.
• Build event‑driven services with Pub/Sub, Cloud Tasks, Cloud Functions, and Cloud Workflows.
• Integrate Google Cloud media APIs such as Live Stream, Transcoder, Video Intelligence, and Vision AI.
• Write unit, integration, and load tests to protect core workflows.
• Improve observability, monitoring, and performance of existing services.
• Collaborate with DevOps on Kubernetes, Helm, Terraform, and GKE rollouts.
• Participate in design and code reviews.

Required profile

• 3+ years of professional backend development experience, including 2+ years building services in Go.
• Strong grasp of Go concurrency, context‑aware programming, error handling, and graceful shutdown.
• Practical API design skills with gRPC, Protocol Buffers, grpc‑gateway, and REST.
• Experience with cloud platforms and backend integrations.
• Solid engineering fundamentals with awareness of reliability and performance best practices.
• English proficiency at B1+ level for collaboration.
