About the role

Haleon is seeking a Production Manager for its Liquids and Creams value stream. The role is responsible for delivering sustainable results in safety, quality, plan compliance, service and efficiency through visible plant‑floor leadership, team development and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the value‑stream operation, ensuring key metrics such as OEE, efficiency, waste reduction, plan adherence and operating cost are met.
• Provide visible leadership on the shop floor, fostering a strong culture of safety, quality, GMP and disciplined standards.
• Develop and empower operational teams through coaching, performance management and professional growth plans.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, TPM and structured problem‑solving methods (PDCA, RCA, A3, 5 Why).
• Ensure operational and regulatory excellence, preparing for internal and external audits, managing deviations, CAPAs and data integrity.
• Manage cost and productivity, leading expense‑reduction projects, controlling consumables, waste and rework, and coordinating with Maintenance, Engineering, Quality and Planning.

Required profile

• University degree in Engineering (Industrial, Chemical, Mechanical, Electromechanical, Food) or Pharmacy or a related field.
• Preferably a postgraduate qualification or specialization in Operations, Manufacturing, Quality or Management.
• Training in Lean Manufacturing, TPM or Continuous Improvement (Green Belt desirable).
• Knowledge of GMP, QMS and Data Integrity is a plus.
• At least 10 years of experience in industrial environments (pharma, OTC, consumer goods or food).
• Minimum 3 years of leadership experience managing operational teams.
• Experience leading production in regulated settings.
• English level B2 (Upper‑Intermediate) and willingness to work onsite at the San Fernando plant.
