General Manager – Vicuna Foundation

About the role

The Vicuna Foundation is seeking a dynamic General Manager to lead its community development and sustainability programmes across Argentina and Chile. You will be the public face of the foundation, steering strategy, building partnerships, and ensuring impactful outcomes for mining‑region communities.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement the foundation’s strategic plan aligned with Vicuna Corp.’s sustainability goals.
• Design, supervise, and evaluate a portfolio of community development programmes that are inclusive and culturally sensitive.
• Manage relationships with Vicuna Corp., government bodies, indigenous groups, and other stakeholders.
• Lead, mentor, and grow the in‑country team while fostering collaboration with global sustainability experts.
• Oversee budget, HR, logistics, and compliance with local laws and organisational policies.
• Identify and secure partnerships with national and international organisations and report progress to steering committees and boards.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading teams and managing complex stakeholder relationships in Latin America.
• Strong background in community development, sustainability, or related non‑profit sectors.
• Demonstrated ability to work with indigenous communities and navigate multicultural environments.
