Fullstack Engineer (UI-focused) – AI Workspace

About the role

Pasito is building an AI‑native workspace that transforms employee benefits. As a UI‑heavy Fullstack Engineer you will create the core product experiences that power this platform.

Key responsibilities

• Own complex, state‑rich UI systems.
• Design and build rich editing and collaboration experiences using ProseMirror/Tiptap and Yjs, focusing on correctness, performance and UX.
• Integrate AI and LLM‑powered workflows directly into the UI, especially in data‑dense, collaborative environments.
• Collaborate closely with Product, Design, Sales and Client teams to translate real customer workflows into durable solutions.
• Continuously refine existing patterns and define quality standards as the product scales.

Required profile

• UI‑first, product‑driven engineer with 3+ years building complex web applications.
• Deep concern for interaction quality, performance and trustworthy interfaces.
• Strong technical judgment to balance innovation and stability.
• Comfortable operating across the stack, with strength in frontend and user‑facing systems.
• Enjoys close collaboration with product managers and designers.

Required skills

• Expertise building rich UI editors with ProseMirror or Tiptap.
• Experience building real‑time collaboration and local‑first applications using Yjs.
• Proficiency with TypeScript, Node.js and modern frameworks such as Next.js.
• Hands‑on experience integrating AI/LLM workflows (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude) into user‑facing products.
• Strong familiarity with frontend testing tools and best practices.
