Freelance Graphic Production Artist – Web & UI

About the role

WPP Production is seeking a Freelance Graphic Production Artist to create and optimise web‑based visual assets. The role focuses on updating product imagery, UI components and web graphics using Photoshop, ensuring they meet the high‑quality standards required for multi‑channel digital delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Update product imagery and UI elements in Photoshop compositions and output web‑ready graphics.
• Structure Photoshop files with slices, smart objects and layer comps to streamline production and localisation workflows.
• Review final deliverables for flawless layout, image quality, text and link accuracy.
• Track and check‑in graphics and visual assets using a version‑control system.
• Meet project deadlines and provide accurate file hand‑offs for localisation teams.
• Support training of newer team members.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of hands‑on experience in high‑volume web or HTML‑email design and publishing.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
• Self‑motivated with excellent written and verbal communication.
• Collaborative mindset, able to work with designers and developers.

Required skills

• Advanced Photoshop proficiency for web production.
• Familiarity with Sketch.
• Experience with GIT or similar version‑control systems.
• Solid knowledge of HTML and CSS for web publishing.
• Understanding of HTML‑email design standards.
