Freelance Frontend Developer (Landing Pages & Websites)

About the role

Mindrift is seeking experienced freelance frontend developers to work on the Tendem project, creating high‑quality landing pages and small multi‑page websites for real‑world clients. This part‑time remote role is ideal for professionals who combine strong coding skills with a keen eye for design and conversion‑focused layouts.

Key responsibilities

• Design and build landing pages, waitlist pages, and promotional pages with clear hero sections and strong CTAs.
• Develop small multi‑page sites (e.g., portfolios, restaurant sites, simple online stores) following client briefs and basic information architecture.
• Implement responsive, mobile‑first layouts that work across devices and browsers.
• Integrate forms, email capture, basic analytics, and simple CMS or headless content sources.
• Apply on‑page SEO fundamentals such as semantic HTML, meta tags, performance optimization, and accessibility.
• Review, debug, and optimize frontend markup, styling, and structure to deliver production‑ready websites.
• Troubleshoot layout, performance, and cross‑browser issues independently.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in frontend development, landing‑page production, or website development.
• Strong visual eye, attention to detail, and ability to work independently.
• Relevant degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, Design, or related field is a plus.

Required skills

• HTML, CSS, JavaScript (including Flexbox and CSS Grid).
• Experience with at least one modern frontend framework (React, Next.js, Vue, Astro, etc.).
• Utility‑first CSS frameworks such as Tailwind CSS.
• Responsive design, mobile‑first development, and cross‑browser compatibility.
• Basic integration of forms, analytics, and headless CMS content.
• Fundamentals of on‑page SEO and web performance.
