Finance Controller

About the role

The Finance Controller will support the business by delivering accurate cash‑flow forecasts, monitoring expenses and FX exposure, and ensuring profitability through rigorous variance analysis. Acting as a Business Partner, the role collaborates closely with budget holders and area managers to drive financial performance.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare mid‑term and long‑term cash‑flow forecasts and analyse variances.
• Supervise tracking of general expenses and foreign‑exchange exposure.
• Analyse deviations versus the latest forecast and provide explanations.
• Develop and maximise the budget for financial results, including EBIT analysis below gross margin.
• Create and maintain dashboards by area, identifying improvement opportunities in expense management.
• Lead forecasting cycles and participate in cycle meetings with relevant business areas.
• Collaborate on reports and variance analyses for each area.
• Act as Business Partner for budget holders of general expenses, seeking profitability improvements.

Required profile

• University degree in Business Administration, Accounting or a related field.
• 2–3 years of experience in finance, controlling or accounting roles.
• Intermediate to advanced English proficiency.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.
• Familiarity with Power BI (desirable).
