Family Practitioner / General Practitioner (Pain Management)

About the role

We are seeking a Family Practitioner or General Practitioner to join our well‑established clinic in Nelson. The position focuses on pain management, offering both in‑person and virtual care to a diverse patient base across the region.

Key responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive primary care and pain management services to patients.
• Utilize the clinic’s full EMR system for documentation and billing.
• Participate in virtual health consultations for patients unable to travel.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure coordinated patient care.
• Contribute to practice growth through referrals and community outreach.

Required profile

• Medical degree with licensure to practice in British Columbia.
• Interest in pain management; training will be provided if needed.
• Ability to work in a flexible, innovative environment.
• Strong communication skills for both in‑person and virtual settings.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems.
