About the role

We are seeking a Family Practitioner/General Practitioner to join our well‑established clinic in Nelson. The position offers a progressive, innovative environment with full EMR support, on‑site billing, and the option to provide virtual health services for patients unable to travel.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive primary‑care services to a diverse patient base.
• Develop expertise in pain management, with training provided if needed.
• Conduct in‑person and telehealth consultations.
• Maintain accurate records using the clinic’s EMR system.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure efficient patient flow and billing.

Required profile

• Current license to practice family medicine in Canada.
• Strong interest in pain management or willingness to be trained.
• Ability to work both on‑site and remotely in a flexible schedule.
• Excellent communication skills and a team‑oriented mindset.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems.
• Experience using telehealth platforms for virtual consultations.
• Familiarity with medical billing software.
