Executive Producer – Permanent Expat Role in Saudi Arabia

About the role

The King Abdulaziz Center for World Culture is seeking an Executive Producer to lead its annual theater program. This permanent expatriate position requires relocation to Saudi Arabia and offers an attractive relocation package. The role combines artistic vision with operational and financial oversight to deliver world‑class cultural experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the planning and delivery of theater productions, events, and activities.
• Develop strategic and operational plans, scopes of work, contracts, and agreements to support program delivery.
• Manage internal and external resources, contractors, and partners to ensure effective execution.
• Maintain the multi‑year theater calendar and budget, ensuring financial accountability.
• Lead and develop the producing team, fostering collaboration and excellence.
• Identify and develop new works and artistic initiatives to enhance the Center’s reputation.
• Oversee production costs, revenue targets, and coordinate with marketing for financial sustainability.
• Ensure compliance with planning, scheduling, approval, and governance processes.
• Monitor project milestones, manage risks, and maintain documentation and reporting.
• Represent the Center with industry stakeholders locally, regionally, and internationally.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in performing arts, arts administration, theater production, event management or a related field (advanced degree preferred).
• At least 15 years of experience in the performing arts, entertainment or live events sector, including a minimum of 10 years in a senior producing or leadership role.
• Proven ability to manage multi‑year budgets, schedules and cross‑functional teams.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
