Ex-MBB Strategy Consultant – AI Training (Remote)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced former consultant from a top‑tier strategy firm to help us design realistic consulting scenarios that will be used to train advanced AI systems. The position is fully remote and project‑based, focusing on translating real‑world consulting engagements into structured learning environments for large language models.

Key responsibilities

• Develop detailed, industry‑specific consulting project scenarios that reflect real engagement dynamics, including financial data, constraints, and ambiguous information.
• Break down each scenario into discrete consulting tasks such as market sizing, commercial due diligence, cost optimisation, growth strategy, operational diagnosis, and benchmarking.
• Create grading rubrics, evaluation criteria and golden‑answer solutions for each task to enable automated assessment of AI‑generated outputs.
• Collaborate with AI and data‑generation teams to ensure the scenarios are compatible with the lightweight tools used for model training.

Required profile

• 3+ years of hands‑on consulting experience at McKinsey, BCG, Bain, Oliver Wyman, Roland Berger, Monitor Deloitte, EY‑Parthenon, Kearney or Strategy&.
• Proven ability to structure ambiguous client problems, build financial models or market analyses, and produce client‑ready deliverables under tight deadlines.
• Experience presenting and defending recommendations in uncertain environments.

Required skills

• Strong analytical and problem‑structuring capabilities.
• Familiarity with financial modelling, market analysis and strategic synthesis.
