Estate Planning Legal Assistant (Remote)

About the role

We are looking for an Estate Planning Legal Assistant to join a professional legal services firm that specializes in helping individuals and families with estate planning. The position is fully remote and supports attorneys and clients throughout the planning process.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and draft a variety of estate planning documents.
• Organize and maintain estate planning files and client records.
• Use WealthDocs to create, edit, and manage estate planning documents.
• Communicate professionally with clients regarding their estate planning matters.
• Coordinate with attorneys and team members to ensure timely completion of work.
• Provide general administrative and legal support as needed.

Required profile

• Licensed attorney preferred, but substantial estate planning experience without a law degree will be considered.
• Demonstrated experience working in an estate planning practice.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organizational abilities and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Required skills

• Proficiency with WealthDocs.
• Microsoft Office Suite.
• Legal document management software (if applicable).
