Email Marketing Specialist

About the role

The Email Marketing Specialist is a core member of Assurant's Email Center of Excellence, responsible for executing customer engagement and lifecycle marketing initiatives across multiple brands and business units. The role partners closely with marketing stakeholders to build, test, deploy, monitor, and optimise email communications that drive acquisition, onboarding, engagement, retention, loyalty and re‑activation.

Key responsibilities

• Build, test and deploy email campaigns, customer‑journey communications and lifecycle programmes using Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Knak and other approved tools.
• Configure audience selections, personalisation, dynamic content, scheduling and deployment settings, ensuring brand consistency and quality.
• Coordinate campaign requirements, timelines, approvals and deliverables across creative teams and internal partners.
• Monitor and report on campaign performance, support A/B testing, analyse results and recommend optimisation.
• Perform quality‑assurance reviews, including content validation, link testing, rendering and accessibility checks.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, Digital Marketing or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in email or digital marketing and at least 1 year managing projects or stakeholder relationships.
• Salesforce Marketing Cloud Specialist certification (required) and Administrator certification (preferred).

Required skills

• Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Salesforce/Account Engagement (Pardot).
• Knak or comparable content‑creation and campaign‑production tools.
• Strong understanding of email‑marketing best practices, segmentation, personalisation and testing methodologies.
• HTML and CSS for email template editing.
• Excellent organisational, project‑management and communication abilities.
