Electrical Engineer / Designer (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking an Electrical Designer / Engineer with at least three years of experience in MEP design for building projects. The position is a remote near‑shore role supporting a U.S.‑based architectural engineering firm that delivers projects in retail, workplace, hospitality, restaurant and other commercial environments.

Key responsibilities

• Develop electrical drawings, layouts and technical documentation for assigned MEP projects using Revit and AutoCAD.
• Support electrical system design for commercial, workplace, retail, hospitality and restaurant projects, including load calculations and equipment sizing in accordance with NEC requirements.
• Interpret and implement project requirements, codes and standards such: NEC, IECC and ASHRAE 90.1.
• Prepare or assist with MEPF site‑survey reports, review submittals, shop drawings and RFIs.
• Coordinate with internal engineering teams, architects, owners, consultants and other stakeholders through remote meetings.
• Manage tasks, deadlines and deliverables with limited supervision, ensuring design accuracy and code compliance.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience as an Electrical Designer or Electrical Engineer within an engineering consulting environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD.
• Strong knowledge of NEC, IECC and ASHRAE 90.1 codes.
• Professional level English communication skills and ability to work remotely with U.S. teams.
