Director of IT – Lead Enterprise Infrastructure & Security

About the role

We are seeking a Director of IT to lead our enterprise infrastructure and security initiatives across multiple countries. The role combines strategic planning, team leadership, and hands‑on technical oversight to ensure a resilient, compliant, and modern IT environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and develop a small team of IT engineers and administrators supporting multi‑site, multi‑country operations.
• Design, deploy and optimise enterprise infrastructure including networking, cloud services, identity management, endpoint management and collaboration platforms.
• Establish operational SLAs/KPIs, manage the IT budget and vendor relationships.
• Serve as senior authority on enterprise security, covering threat detection, vulnerability management, incident response and security controls.
• Lead SOC 2, SOX and other compliance frameworks, and enforce company‑wide IT and security policies.
• Oversee Microsoft 365, Azure Active Directory/Entra ID, Windows Server, Intune/MEM and related security suites.
• Drive modernization initiatives such as cloud migration, Zero Trust architecture and centralized policy enforcement.
• Develop multi‑year IT and security roadmaps aligned with business objectives and present risk analysis to executive leadership.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in IT infrastructure, enterprise security and operations leadership.
• Proven success managing multi‑site environments and supporting users across at least two countries.
• Experience owning SOC 2 and/or SOX programs through full audit cycles.
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CCSP or Microsoft security/identity certifications.
