DevOps Manager – Cloud & Automation Lead

About the role

We are seeking a DevOps Manager to lead cloud and web architecture design, deployment automation and DevSecOps practices for EY’s Digital Engineering team serving the financial services market. The role will guide multidisciplinary teams across Azure and AWS environments, ensuring security, reliability and operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Lead cloud and web architecture design, development strategy and technical delivery planning.
• Define and govern deployment, automation and DevSecOps practices across delivery teams.
• Guide teams working on Azure and AWS with focus on security, reliability and operational readiness.
• Oversee Azure DevOps pipelines, Git/GitHub, GitHub Actions, Ansible Tower, EY Building Blocks and S‑SDLC adoption.
• Manage containerised platform delivery using Kubernetes and Docker.
• Drive agile delivery using Scrum and Kanban and ensure continuous improvement.
• Provide operational leadership for ServiceNow processes, incident management and production support.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business and security needs into technology roadmaps.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree.
• Proven experience in cloud and web architecture design and development strategy.
• Hands‑on experience leading deployment, automation and DevSecOps practices.
• Experience working with Azure and AWS cloud environments.
• Strong background in agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and leading multidisciplinary teams.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
