DevOps Engineer III – Automation & Cloud Infrastructure

About the role

We are looking for a DevOps Engineer III to help build the next generation of Teladoc Health products. You will focus on automation, metrics, and delivering secure, reliable services through fully automated continuous delivery pipelines.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement Infrastructure as Code, automated provisioning, and deployment across multiple environments.
• Partner with development and QA teams to create and maintain a high‑productivity continuous integration environment.
• Participate in a 24/7 on‑call rotation to support production systems.
• Automate and optimize processes to reduce manual toil while ensuring security and reliability.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional business teams to define performance SLOs and SLAs.
• Document operational practices and procedures thoroughly.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in development, test, and production environments.
• Identify gaps in existing processes and drive improvements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of professional experience in DevOps or a related discipline.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Experience working with distributed, cross‑functional teams.

Required skills

• Containers and Kubernetes.
• Cloud‑based environments (preferably Microsoft Azure).
• Automation scripting and code development.
• Alerting, monitoring, and metrics tools such as New Relic, Zenoss, Sensu, Nagios, Graphite, Collectd, Ganglia, or Datadog.
• Continuous integration and deployment pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, Bamboo CI, Docker).
• Version control and workflow tools (Git, SVN, Jira).
