Developer Tooling Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Developer Tooling Engineer to help build a next‑generation API Review Agent platform and a comprehensive developer tooling ecosystem. You will work on TypeScript‑based CLI tools, SDKs, plugins, and automation pipelines that improve API quality and developer productivity across thousands of engineers.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain production‑grade CLI applications using TypeScript and Node.js.
• Create extensible plugin architectures and SDKs for internal and external consumers.
• Implement software distribution strategies for macOS and Windows, including package managers, installers, and auto‑update mechanisms.
• Build telemetry and analytics pipelines to measure adoption, usage patterns, performance, and feature engagement while respecting privacy and compliance requirements.
• Develop authentication, configuration, and credential‑management features for developer tools.
• Integrate tooling with GitHub, GitLab, CI/CD systems, IDEs, and developer portals.
• Write clear documentation, tutorials, examples, and onboarding materials.
• Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and ensure reliability, scalability, security, and maintainability of the tooling ecosystem.

Required profile

• 2+ years of experience in developer tooling, platform engineering, or a related field.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English (B1+ level).
• Ability to work independently, take ownership of tasks, and collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams.
