DDI Operations Engineer - Senior

About the role

PwC is seeking a Senior DDI Operations Engineer to join its global IT services team in Buenos Aires. You will be responsible for administering and supporting enterprise DNS, DHCP, and IPAM platforms across a worldwide environment, ensuring high availability and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Administer and support enterprise DNS, DHCP, and IPAM services.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve incidents affecting DDI infrastructure.
• Manage DNS records, DHCP scopes, and IP allocation activities.
• Support DDI modernization, migration, and transition projects.
• Perform system administration, patching, upgrades, and configuration maintenance.
• Utilize monitoring tools to maintain service health and meet SLA targets.
• Conduct root‑cause analysis and participate in problem‑management for critical incidents.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and operational teams as a technical SME.
• Maintain operational documentation, knowledge articles, and SOPs.
• Contribute to continuous‑improvement initiatives and provide 24x7 on‑call support when required.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience supporting enterprise DDI environments.
• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation abilities.
• Experience with incident, problem, and change management processes.

Required skills

• DNS, DHCP, and IPAM administration.
• Windows Server and Linux/Unix environments.
• Command‑line proficiency on Linux/Unix.
• BlueCat DDI solutions (preferred).
• Active Directory, Microsoft DNS/DHCP services.
• Monitoring tools such as SolarWinds, ThousandEyes, Splunk.
• Networking concepts, Cisco and Palo Alto technologies.
• Infoblox or similar DDI platforms.
