Data Protection Officer

About the role

Revolut is seeking a Data Protection Officer to join its Compliance team. The DPO will act as the second line of defence, ensuring that data protection policies are embedded across the company’s products and operations while supporting the rapid growth of the global financial super‑app.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and continuously update data protection policies and ensure their application across all product lines.
• Identify, assess and resolve data protection risks, providing guidance to business units and first‑line functions.
• Deliver 2LoD advisory and challenge on products, processes and controls.
• Design and run data protection training and awareness programmes for employees.
• Monitor, report and escalate risk trends through dashboards and governance committees to senior management.

Required profile

• 4+ years of experience in data protection or privacy compliance.
• Strong understanding of financial services, banking products and the regulatory environment.
• Knowledge of GDPR, global data‑protection frameworks and central‑bank regulations.
• Proven stakeholder‑management skills with the ability to collaborate and negotiate across functions.
• Fluent English communication skills.
