Cybersecurity Engineer – Remote

About the role

We are looking for a Cybersecurity Engineer to join DevUps remotely. In this role you will design, implement and maintain proactive threat‑defense systems that protect critical infrastructure and data.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deploy security controls across cloud and on‑premise infrastructure and applications.
• Perform vulnerability assessments, penetration testing and remediation.
• Monitor security events using SIEM tools and respond to incidents promptly.
• Develop, document and enforce security policies, procedures and standards.
• Stay up‑to‑date with emerging threats, industry best practices and compliance frameworks.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in cybersecurity engineering or related fields.
• Strong knowledge of network security, encryption, threat detection and security frameworks such as NIST and ISO 27001.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CEH, Security+) are a plus.
• Fluent in Spanish and conversational English.
