Cost Accountant

About the role

The Cost Accountant will join Kari-Out’s finance team in Greater Buenos Aires, focusing on tracking, analyzing, and reporting manufacturing and operational costs. This full‑time, on‑site role supports pricing, budgeting, and profitability decisions across the company’s food‑service production portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review regular cost reports and maintain cost allocation models.
• Perform variance analyses and support month‑end close with accurate journal entries.
• Collaborate with finance and operations to review production data, validate inventories, and ensure data integrity.
• Contribute to process‑improvement initiatives and assist in the preparation of financial statements.
• Provide analytical insights to management for strategic decision‑making.

Required profile

• Proven cost accounting experience, including standard costing, variance analysis, and cost allocation.
• Solid understanding of financial statements and monthly close processes.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong Excel proficiency and familiarity with ERP or accounting systems.
• Detail‑oriented, high integrity, and able to meet tight deadlines.
• Willingness to work on‑site in Greater Buenos Aires and collaborate with cross‑functional teams.
