Controller – Finance Operations & Billing

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Controller to manage day‑to‑day financial operations and drive process improvements across accounting, billing and reporting. The role combines hands‑on financial management with a focus on automation, efficiency and accurate financial data.

Key responsibilities

• Reconcile daily cash flows across Authorize.net, bank deposits, Salesforce, QuickBooks and customer payment records.
• Own recurring billing reconciliation, follow‑up on failed payments, collections and resolution of payment issues.
• Maintain accurate subscription and recurring revenue tracking in the financial system.
• Perform bookkeeping, journal entries, month‑end close and prepare monthly financial statements.
• Manage AR/AP records and support cash‑flow visibility.
• Oversee inventory reporting, reconciliation and optimisation, improving controls and usage tracking.
• Identify gaps in financial workflows and implement practical improvements using automation and AI tools.
• Enhance reporting, reconciliation, collections and internal controls.
• Collaborate with operations, sales, customer service and leadership to ensure clean financial data and timely reporting.

Required profile

• Strong accounting background with solid bookkeeping, reconciliation and month‑end close experience.
• Analytical and proactive mindset with a focus on process efficiency and control improvement.
• Experience managing recurring billing, collections and payment‑processor integrations.
• Ability to work cross‑functionally with ops, sales and leadership teams.
