Contact Centre Administrator

About the role

As a Contact Centre Administrator you will deliver an efficient, first‑class service for Northumberland Leisure Centre, ensuring every interaction is handled promptly and to a high standard. You will be the first point of contact for members of the public, staff, businesses and visitors, responding via telephone, email and social media.

Key responsibilities

• Answer and manage inbound calls, emails and social media enquiries.
• Resolve customer queries at the first point of contact wherever possible.
• Maintain accurate records of interactions and follow‑up actions.
• Provide consistent, high‑quality, customer‑focused service.
• Support the contact centre team in meeting service level targets.

Required profile

• Desirable experience working in a customer service or contact centre environment.
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively across telephone, email and social media platforms.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a customer‑first attitude.
