Construction Manager – Luxury Villa Project in Barcelona

About the role

Utopia is seeking a hands‑on Construction Manager to lead the on‑site delivery of a high‑end luxury villa in Barcelona. The role serves as the primary link between remote design teams and the construction crew, ensuring the project meets the brand’s exacting standards of quality, schedule, and budget.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all on‑site activities, guaranteeing compliance with local building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards.
• Conduct regular site inspections, promptly addressing safety or quality issues.
• Ensure construction follows approved plans, drawings, and specifications.
• Collaborate with the Project Manager and Head of Construction to execute the construction plan, manage schedules, allocate resources, and oversee material procurement.
• Maintain high‑level quality control, reflecting the detailed craftsmanship defined in the design.
• Monitor site‑level expenses, aligning with the approved budget and identifying cost‑effective solutions.
• Coordinate subcontractors, skilled labor, and on‑site teams to sustain workflow and foster collaboration.
• Step in for the Head of Construction when required, attending meetings and contributing to key decisions.
• Maintain accurate records of site activities, progress reports, and conditions.
