Commercial Transactional Lawyer

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Transactional Lawyer to join our international team remotely from Argentina. You will provide strategic legal support for complex commercial operations, ensuring that contracts and corporate transactions align with business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements, including supplier, service, licensing, distribution, partnership, NDA, and joint‑venture contracts.
• Provide strategic guidance on commercial risks, contractual obligations, and compliance with applicable Australian laws and regulations.
• Support corporate transactions such as mergers, acquisitions, and reorganizations through legal due diligence and documentation preparation.
• Analyze business strategies from a legal perspective and deliver practical recommendations.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of commercial legislation, regulations, and contract law developments.
• Translate complex legal concepts into clear, actionable advice for non‑legal stakeholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB or equivalent).
• Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial transactions, corporate law, or a related legal field.
• Strong knowledge of Australian contract law, commercial regulations, and business practices.
• Proven ability to draft, review, negotiate, and advise on a variety of commercial agreements.
• Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Self‑motivated, capable of working independently in a remote environment.
• Effective communication skills for collaboration with international teams and business stakeholders.
