About the role
As the first point of contact for S&P Global Energy, you will introduce our market‑intelligence and data solutions to current and prospective clients. Working closely with global sales, marketing and product teams, you will help shape outreach strategies and qualify leads across the energy sector.
Key responsibilities
- Identify and engage target users within assigned accounts, qualifying prospects for S&P Global Energy solutions.
- Generate new business opportunities from inbound leads, prospect lists, research and discovery activities.
- Develop and execute outreach plans to secure appointments for Sales Representatives.
- Maintain accurate records of all interactions, research and pipeline data in the CRM system.
- Prepare and analyse sales pipeline reports and dashboards.
- Build and nurture relationships with prospects, guiding them through the sales funnel.
- Continuously expand product and market knowledge through demos, team collaboration and feedback.
Required profile
- Self‑motivated, resilient and client‑first mindset.
- Strong communication skills in English and either German or French.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with cross‑functional teams.
- Interest in energy markets and analytical data services.
Required skills
- Proficiency with a CRM platform for tracking leads and pipeline activity.
