Cloud Platform Engineer (SRE/DevOps) – Mendoza

About the role

Built is looking for a hands‑on Cloud Platform Engineer to join its Cloud Platform Team in Mendoza, Argentina. You will keep the AWS environment healthy, evolve Terraform code, and act as the go‑to person when product teams face infrastructure challenges.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve AWS issues across services such as EC2, EKS, ECS, RDS, S3, IAM, VPC, Route 53, CloudWatch, KMS and Secrets Manager.
• Author, review and improve Terraform modules, manage state, and eliminate drift across the AWS estate.
• Support production databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, Aurora, DynamoDB) with schema reviews, index tuning, backup validation, replication checks and capacity planning.
• Enhance GitHub Actions CI/CD pipelines to make builds and deployments faster, safer and easier to debug.
• Build and maintain observability assets in Datadog and CloudWatch, create dashboards, write monitors and help teams instrument services.
• Participate in on‑call rotation, incident response, post‑mortem writing and translate findings into Terraform‑backed fixes.

Required profile

• Enjoys digging into AWS console errors, IAM denials and Terraform state issues.
• Hands‑on mindset with a focus on practical, durable solutions.
• Ability to work closely with engineering teams and guide them through infrastructure problems.
• Willingness to lead well‑scoped platform initiatives while staying involved in day‑to‑day operations.
