Clinical Resource Nurse - Day Surgery/OSU/Endoscopy

About the role

The Clinical Resource Nurse (CRN) provides clinical expertise and leadership within the Day Surgery, Operating Suite (OSU), and Endoscopy unit at Concordia Hospital. Reporting to the Clinical Manager, the CRN supports nursing staff, coordinates patient care, and promotes high‑quality outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver clinical guidance and mentorship to nursing teams in day surgery, OSU, and endoscopy.
• Coordinate interdisciplinary patient care to ensure safe and effective treatment pathways.
• Monitor and evaluate patient outcomes, identifying opportunities for improvement.
• Assist with staffing, scheduling, and resource allocation for the unit.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and policy development.

Required profile

• Registered Nurse (RN) with current licensure in Manitoba.
• Experience in day surgery, operating suite, or endoscopy settings.
• Demonstrated leadership and collaborative skills.
• Strong communication abilities and commitment to compassionate patient care.

Required skills

• Clinical expertise in surgical and endoscopic nursing.
