Business Development Manager – South Cone (Remote)

About the role

RateHawk, a leading travel‑tech brand within Emerging Travel Group, is looking for a Business Development Manager to expand its presence across the South Cone. This remote position focuses on acquiring new B2B partners, nurturing existing relationships, and driving revenue growth in Argentina.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales activities to meet growth targets in the assigned territory.
• Identify, onboard and train new partners such as tour operators, travel agencies, travel management companies, and OTAs.
• Maintain long‑lasting relationships with both new and existing partners.
• Manage an assigned portfolio, providing first‑level support and ongoing system training.
• Negotiate, prepare and execute commercial agreements, ensuring proper documentation and technical setup.
• Monitor compliance with commercial terms, including payment flows.
• Spend up to 50% of working time on business trips, client meetings, industry events, and related activities.
• Conduct market and competitive analysis and report regularly via CRM and internal tools.
• Initiate API integration deals with potential and current partners.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of full‑cycle sales experience in the travel industry, focusing on B2B business development and account management.
• Deep knowledge of the regional travel market and B2B travel networks.
• Fluent in English and Spanish; additional languages are a plus.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.
• Strong analytical mindset, comfortable with data‑driven decision making.
• Proactive, results‑oriented, and comfortable in a fast‑changing tech environment.
• International mindset with ability to work across diverse cultural contexts.
