Bilingual Structural Engineering Analyst (Spanish/English)

About the role

Newmont is seeking a bilingual Structural Engineering Analyst to strengthen the integrity and reliability of its global mining assets. The role combines data‑driven analysis with hands‑on engineering support, working across sites and with internal and external partners.

Key responsibilities

• Collect, validate, and organize structural integrity data from inspections, site reports, drawings, and systems.
• Analyze structural condition, performance, and risk data to inform engineering decisions.
• Prepare technical inputs, calculations, summaries, and documentation for integrity assessments.
• Draft engineering recommendations aligned with approved standards and templates.
• Support structural audits, reviews, and maturity assessments by developing data packs and draft technical content.
• Maintain integrity registers, dashboards, and reporting tools.
• Assist investigations into structural incidents by gathering facts and preparing technical summaries.
• Collaborate with site teams, contractors, and internal stakeholders to obtain information and complete deliverables.
• Identify gaps, inconsistencies, or risks in data and escalate appropriately.

Required profile

• Degree in Civil, Structural, or Mechanical Engineering.
• Bilingual in Spanish and English (required).
• Experience with industrial infrastructure, structures, or storage tanks.
• Foundational experience applying engineering principles within standards and systems.
• Working knowledge of structural or civil engineering concepts and technical documentation.
