Backend Engineer – Build Scalable Backend Services

About the role

This opportunity gives you the chance to develop and maintain our backend services, solving deep tech problems for our users. We are looking for long‑term players, people who own a keen product sense.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement new functionalities for mobile applications, collaborating with product, mobile, platform, and other backend engineers.
• Improve existing systems by fixing bugs, optimizing resource usage, and scaling them.
• Deliver code to production and release features to users frequently and incrementally.
• Develop tooling to improve development practices.
• Participate in code reviews to raise code and product quality.
• Own your code in production.
• Work with the CX team when users encounter app issues.

Required profile

• Experience running distributed systems in production.
• Strong cross‑team collaboration skills in a highly cross‑functional environment.
• A beginner’s mindset, always striving to understand.
• Ownership and problem‑solving attitude.
• Willingness to work on open issues and solve whatever needs to be solved.
