Back End PHP Developer

About the role

We are looking for a Back End PHP Developer to design, build and maintain robust web applications. You will work closely with front‑end engineers and product teams to deliver high‑quality, performant solutions for our clients.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain server‑side PHP modules and APIs.
• Design efficient database schemas and optimise queries for PostgreSQL and other SQL/NoSQL stores.
• Collaborate with front‑end developers to integrate UI components.
• Troubleshoot and resolve performance, scalability and security issues.
• Integrate third‑party services and data storage solutions.
• Continuously improve existing features and implement new functionality.

Required profile

• Fluency in PHP and strong understanding of object‑oriented programming.
• Ability to analyse requirements and solve complex architectural challenges.
• Customer‑success mindset and excellent communication in English.
• Experience with GitHub, Scrum and remote, full‑time work environments.
• Relevant IT studies or equivalent professional experience.
