AWS Data Engineer – Remote (Argentina)

About the role

Netrix Global is seeking an AWS Data Engineer to join its Professional Services – Data Intelligence team. The role is fully remote within Argentina and focuses on building, maintaining, and optimizing data pipelines and AI/ML infrastructure on AWS.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, create, and prepare data for modern data solutions and AI workloads.
• Design, develop, and manage ETL/ELT processes and data lake architectures.
• Work with Apache Hadoop ecosystem tools such as Spark, Hive, Pig, Oozie, and Airflow.
• Integrate, test, and document data solutions, ensuring compliance with security and governance policies.
• Manage AWS cloud services, data access, and monitoring of applications and services.
• Collaborate with data scientists and ML engineers to support machine‑learning pipelines.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a Data Engineer or Architect role.
• Hands‑on experience with AWS (S3, Glue, Athena, SageMaker, etc.).
• Proficient in Python or R for data processing.
• Intermediate to upper‑intermediate English proficiency.
• Experience working in Agile Scrum teams and using DevOps tools.
