AWS Cloud Engineer

About the role

Netrix Global is seeking an experienced AWS Cloud Engineer to join its Professional Services – Cloud Engineering team. You will design, implement, and maintain scalable, secure cloud solutions on Amazon Web Services, collaborating closely with development and operations teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deploy cloud infrastructures using AWS services.
• Manage and optimise AWS resources for cost‑effectiveness.
• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting to ensure infrastructure health.
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) scripts.
• Ensure data security and compliance with relevant policies.
• Collaborate with developers to integrate applications into the cloud.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production incidents.
• Stay current with emerging cloud technologies and best practices.

Required profile

• Proven experience working with Amazon Web Services.
• Deep knowledge of core AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, IAM, Lambda, and CloudFormation.
• Experience with IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible).
• Strong Linux/Unix system administration skills.
• Familiarity with containers (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
• Experience with monitoring tools (CloudWatch, ELK Stack, Prometheus).
• Ability to script in Python, Bash or PowerShell.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, AWS CodePipeline).
• Advanced English communication skills.
